America Biography
Jill
Christine Wiley
Jill
Christine Wiley is a 16 year old attending Penn Manor High School in
Millersville, PA where she will be a junior this fall. Her school
activities include chorus, Manor Singers, International Thespian
Society, and Spring Musicals.
This past March
she played Belle in Penn Manor's production of "Beauty and the Beast."
Jill is an honor roll student and has been named "Student of the Month."
In addition, she is a state board member for the Pennsylvania
International Thespian Society and has been nominated to Who's Who in
Speech and Drama. Jill has been performing in community and professional
theater productions since the age of 8 and is looking forward to
performing the roll of Sharpay in "High School Musical 2" at the Ephrata
Performing Arts Center in October 2009.
Jill became
involved with the Miss Pennsylvania Outstanding Teen America Program
while in Middle School when she was crowned Miss MidState's Outstanding
Teen. In June 2008, she was named Fourth Runner-Up to the state title as
Miss York County's Outstanding Teen. As Miss Central Pennsylvania's
Outstanding Teen Jill, was honored to be crowned Miss Pennsylvania's
Outstanding Teen America in June 2009.
Jill's state and
national talent is a Broadway Theater vocal of "Beyond My Wildest
Dreams" from the Broadway Musical "The Little Mermaid." Throughout her
year of service as Miss Pennsylvania's Outstanding Teen America, Jill
will promote her platform, "Broadway Cares - Equity Fights AIDS" while
continuing to serve as a role model for other teens across the state of
Pennsylvania.
